About Jamie

Jamie is a world renowned putting coach based at the prestigious Woburn Golf Club in England, with clients ranging from former World No.1 and Masters Champion Adam Scott to those just beginning their golfing journey and seeking a first handicap index.

After turning pro in 1993,  Jamie took a post at Hemingford Abbots in Cambridgeshire and soon built a reputation as one of the county’s most forward thinking coaches; innovative in his thinking and comfortable using breakthroughs in technology to help players improve their games.    After a few years at the complex,  a period which saw Jamie rise to the position of Head Professional and Director of the Academy,  his enthusiasm for continual self improvement saw him move on from the role to become Europe’s first accredited AimPoint Putting Coach.

Jamie’s office is now the world class Tavistock Short Game Area at Woburn where he coaches one to one and multi-player clinics. His passion to improve pupils is not only evident in how he explains the combination of art and science in the Aimpoint technique but also in the pleasure he takes from the success of his pupils – whether this be one of his professionals claiming another tour win, an elite amateur rising the world rankings or the weekend golfer winning their club’s monthly medal and achieving their lowest handicap index yet.

An established reputation within the game means Jamie travels the world to support his players and pupils at tournaments – with his fondest memories coming from working at The Open numerous times and working with players  year on year in Australia, USA, Korea an and Japan, enjoying the challenges of working with elite golfers.

Alongside private tuition, Jamie enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge at conferences and seminars for fellow coaches and golfing enthusiasts.
